For special events, we, the club, sometimes apply for an NOV and use a special field day call.

AMC Radio Club About Us
Welcome to The AMC Radio Club, a community where no form of communication is off-limits. Our club is a diverse and knowledgeable collective.
Our primary goal is simple: to bring together like-minded radio operators who share a passion for the hobby and create a space where we can enjoy it together while sharing knowledge and experiences.
Let’s take a brief journey into our history. The roots of The AMC Radio Club can be traced back to 2017 when it started as an 11m net on AM. It all began on a cold January evening when a call was given out, and from that moment, our weekly net was born. Since then, we have continuously grown stronger and more connected as a community.
With time, we expanded our presence beyond the net. We established a Facebook page and a messenger group, allowing our members to stay connected and engaged even when not on the airwaves.
The core values of The AMC Radio Club revolve around promoting radio and friendship. Whether you are just starting your radio journey or an experienced operator, we aim to provide an environment that fosters camaraderie and enjoyment.
If you are new to the world of radio, you have come to the right place. Our club boasts members with a wealth of knowledge and experience. Our community offers guidance, support, and assistance as you embark on your radio adventures.
From wanting to study for your Foundation through to your Full call, we also hold Sunday Radio Ted Talks. Here we can look at how repeaters work, propagation, how to call CQ, to how to get on the air for the first time.
We hold regular meet-ups and competitions supported by Station Master Online
We invite you to join The AMC Radio Club and become a part of our vibrant community. Share your stories, ask questions, and connect with fellow radio enthusiasts who share your passion. Together, let’s explore the vast world of radio and forge lasting friendships along the way.
